Bio

My name is Daniel Manfredo and I am the Spanish Language Arts Humanities teacher (SLAH). I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I studied at The University of Buenos Aires and I am a Certified Public Accountant. For more than 30 years, I worked in the world of Multinational American Companies on both, the Finance and the Sales & Marketing sides. My corporate activity allowed me to live in countries such as Spain, Mexico, and the United States, as well as to travel around the globe learning about different places, their people, their culture, and their history.

For 1 year, I have resided in the state of Delaware with my wife and my son, who is a high school student. I love having coffee enjoying the company of my family and friends, I am very good at making "asados" and my favorite restaurants are Applebee’s and the Italian food of Olive Garden. Every day I start my day reading the world’s news in newspapers. My favorite sport is swimming and my hobby is hiking in natural places and visiting new places with my family. Currently, I am attending the ARTC program at the University of Delaware. I am very happy to have started my career as a teacher in the ASPIRA family. My intention is to convey to my students the value of studying about the world around us and how today's historical events will affect our reality tomorrow.
