Wanda Lopez and her husband Eli have been married for 25 years. She is the mother of 2 children and  worked in various Wall Street financial investments firms for 20+ years. She ended her tenure with Fidelity Investments in order to raise her children. She began working in the non-profit sector with a focus on supporting the Delaware Hispanic community.  Wanda worked for United Way of Delaware to implement the Help Me Grow/211 program and oversee the financial empowerment program Stand By Me. Her most recent project was with NYC Department of Consumer Affairs Office of Financial Empowerment to create a pilot financial coaching program focused on serving people with disabilities called Empowered NYC. Wanda is currently the Family Resource Administrator at Las Américas ASPIRA Academy and a high school Spanish teacher. She earned her Bachelorette in Business Administration from Baruch College in New York City.
