Meet the Teacher

Hi! My name is Mrs. Kim Schukraft. I am the Education Enrichment Coordinator, 6th grade enrichment math teacher and co-teach 6th grade math with Mrs. Kelso. I am the adviser for our Inclusive Education Support for Families (IESF) Community and the Safety Patrol Advisor. This is my 8th year of teaching at Las Americas ASPIRA Academy, it is my second home and family. I graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Landscape Architecture and received my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Special Education K-12 from Neumann University. When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my three daughters (7,4, and 1), husband and family. I enjoy traveling, going to the beach, exercising and spending time outside. ¡Hola! Mi nombre es Mrs. Kim Schukraft. Soy la Coordinadora de Enriquecimiento Educativo y también enseño matemáticas de 6o grado y co-enseño matemáticas de 6o grado con la Sra. Kelso. Soy el asesor de nuestra Comunidad de Apoyo a la Educación Inclusiva para Familias (IESF) y el Asesor de Patrullas de Seguridad. Este es mi octavo año de enseñanza en Las Americas ASPIRA Academy, es mi segundo hogar y familia. Me gradué de la Universidad Estatal de Pensilvania con un título en Arquitectura del Paisaje y recibí mi Maestría en Liderazgo Educativo y Educación Especial K-12 de la Universidad Neumann. . Cuando no estoy enseñando, me encanta pasar tiempo con mis tres hijas (7,4 1), esposo y familia. Me gusta viajar, ir a la playa, hacer ejercicio y pasar tiempo al aire libre.
