Meet the teacher

Hi!  My name is Jenny Markle.  I will be your child's English Language Arts Immersion Teacher.  This is my 9th year at Aspira Academy teaching 1st Grade.  I have been here since the opening of Aspira.  I graduated from Wilmington University with a BS in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education.  I have been teaching for 25 years.  I really enjoy teaching and love teaching 1st grade.  I live in Wilmington with my husband and 3 children.  We love dogs!  We have two huskies, Foxy and Cinnamin Girl.  We have an American Bully named Tarzan and a cat, Deliha.  I love spending time with my family, traveling and reading on the beach.  I am ready to have another amazing year in 1st grade!  You can contact me anytime at 302-292-1463 x 320 or at [email protected]

- Read with your child each night for 20-30 minutes each night in English or Spanish
