Mrs. Stephanie Saggione- School Librarian

I am the librarian at ASPIRA Academy.  Our library opened in 2017 and since then, I have been working with students in all grades.  I get to see them for book check out every morning, for small reading group instruction during our RtI time, and for various projects throughout the year.

Over the past twenty years, I have taught grades K-4.  I attended West Chester University for a degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and then earned a Masters of Education at the University of Delaware.  That degree also includes certification as a Reading Specialist.  Recently, I completed a second certification at UD,  as a School Library Media Specialist.

I live nearby with my husband and two daughters.  Emma is an ASPIRA graduate and Gabby is currently in the ASPIRA middle school.  My family is very active in the Piedmont  softball league and we are huge Phillies fans.  Of course, reading is my favorite hobby,  so I spend most of my time doing that!  I love to read children's literature so that I can keep recommending great books to the students.
