Meet the Teacher

Hello. My name is Srta. Magaña. I will be your child's Spanish Immersion Math and Science Teacher. This is my 5th year at ASPIRA, and I have been teaching 3rd grade all of those years. I graduated from the University of Delaware with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education (K-6) with a concentration in Middle School Mathematics (6-8). I also obtained my Special Education Teacher Certificate (K-12) and my Foreign Language Teacher Certificate (K-12). I recently obtained my Master's Degree from Wilmington University in Applied Technology in Education. When I am not teaching I enjoy playing soccer, traveling, and trying new foods. Math Computation

• Zearn- This website focuses on 3^rd grade curriculum but includes multiplication, division, addition, and subtraction computation practice in each lesson. 
• Third Grade Math- Spiral Review- The following pages can be printed; the worksheets are a spiral review of 3^rd grade and 2^nd grade math skills.
• Computation Games- Multiplication Game, Another Multiplication Game, Addition Game,
• Xtra Math- This multiplication practice can be done once daily. 

Math Problem Solving

• Zearn -This website focus on 3^rd grade curriculum but includes word problems using all four operations with great visuals and explanations. 
• https://www.ixl.com/math/topics- Find ‘Word Problems’ and choose an activity from there. Students can complete up to 10 problems for free per day. Students should be working on word problems on the 2^nd or 3^rd grade level.
