In 2018 LAAA began a partnership with Literacy Delaware to provide adult English language evening classes in the school. Although the fall 2020/21 classes were disrupted by the pandemic they resumed online. There were different levels of classes, Basic Level English, Intermediate, and Advanced based on each individual’s proficiency assessment.

Our goal is to continue providing the program onsite in the next school year 2026/2027 . By September/October  there should be an update available about fall classes. The Literacy Delaware mission is to advance literacy through training, tutoring, English language acquisition and advocacy for all Delawareans.
