✨ This morning, the ASPIRA familia came together to welcome Dr. Renee Diaz with a special breakfast as he begins his role as Head of School for the future Las Américas ASPIRA Academy in Georgetown! Set to open in September 2027, Las Américas ASPIRA Academy will be a FREE public K–5 dual language elementary school, expanding educational opportunities for families across Sussex County.
Together with Dr. Diaz's leadership, we look forward to creating a school where every child is inspired to achieve academic excellence, embrace bilingualism, celebrate their culture, and grow into tomorrow's leaders. Today's gathering marked the beginning of an exciting journey as we continue building a school rooted in community, opportunity, and high expectations for every student.
