Las Américas ASPIRA Academy (LAAA) opened its doors in August 2011 with just over 300 students in grades K-5. Currently, LAAA serves over 1,400 students in grades K-12th across two campuses in Newark, DE.

Admission

At LAAA, we aim to fulfill our mission by implementing a bilingual programmatic focus called dual language education with the immersion model. This was the first of its kind in Delaware, commencing in 2011 and seeking to educate and empower all language learners. Each student at LAAA is supported throughout the learning journey to gain a proficiency in Spanish as our partner language.
