Today, our school community honors the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. We reflect on his message of equality, service, and justice, and how we can continue to live out his dream through kindness, respect, and action—both in and out of the classroom. In the spirit of his legacy, we encourage our students and families to look for ways to help others and make a positive impact in their communities.

Our 8th grade Aspirantes enjoyed a great visit to the high school where they had the opportunity to tour the campus, meet team members and current ACHS students, and learn about the different career pathways available to them.
To make the day even more special, students were treated to cookies and hot chocolate 🍪☕ and received a swag bag filled with ASPIRA goodies. It was a fun and informative experience that helped our students feel excited and confident about their next step! 💙

We wrapped up the last day of school before winter break by sending our students off in the most joyful way—with snow and bubbles filling the air, smiles all around, and our team members leading a parranda that our aspirantes absolutely enjoyed! ☃️🫧🎶
A special thank you to Pastor Keith for providing the snow machine that helped make the day extra magical for our students. ❄️✨
We hope our students and families enjoy a safe, restful, and happy winter break. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back in 2026, refreshed and ready for a new year of learning and fun. See you soon! 💙

Bring the family to take pictures with Santa 🎅, enjoy the festive atmosphere, and shop from local vendors for unique holiday gifts.

On Friday, students had the opportunity to visit the Pop-Up Grocery Shop, where their donations were delivered. The organizer from the Newark Area Welfare Committee welcomed the students, provided a tour of the space, and invited them to help sort the food donated by ASPIRA Charter High School (ACHS) students and families.
This hands-on experience gave students a deeper understanding of community service, leadership, and the importance of giving back. We are incredibly proud of their commitment and compassion in action.
